Cognitive
This learning involves the manipulation of language through other means such as taking notes, analyzing, and reasoning.
Memory-relate
It is a learning strategy whereby the learner can relate a concept or item with another, such as using acronyms.
Metacognitive
It mainly involves planning, evaluating, and monitoring strategies.
Compensatory
This strategy whereby the learner makes up for missing knowledge either by guessing or gestures.
Auditory
It is a style of learning that involves active listening for the learner to learn.
Visual
Sight is the most used approach for visual learning.
Social
Learning is approached through relations with people or groups, which enables the learner to understand the intentions and feelings of other people. (Group presentations)
Kinesthetic
Learning that involves physical movement, either using feet or hands. Also known as tactile learners, and they gain knowledge by indulging in various physical activities.
Intrapersonal
Involves personal efforts for a learnt to attain knowledge, such as self-study. It constitutes solitary learners who like achieving independent projects or keeping a personal diary.
Classical conditioning
Associates a naturally occurring reflex with a prior neutral stimulus

Involves monitoring and imitations
Operant conditioning
Involves leaning from reinforcement or punishment

Consists of the mind and thought processes.
Conformity
A learner adopts group thinking by matching behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes
Discovery
Learners try new things or take risks to uncover or pursue their interests or passions
Making a difference
A learner seeks to find solutions to challenging issues by tackling them and building skills, information, and concepts out of desire. This situation make the learner distinct.
Self-awareness
Learner perceives their talents, interests, strengths, aspirations, personality, and how others perceive them.
