What is marketing?
The process that sport and active leisure businesses use to market their products to reach their customers and meet their needs and expectations.
Above the line marketing
Methods that reach a mass audience, Non-specific not targeted at a specific customer groups, Method is good to build the brand, makes customers aware of products that a business is selling.
Examples of Above the Line advertising
TV adverts, Radio adverts, Magazines and newspaper full page ads.
Below the line marketing
More specific advertising, targets particular customer group, Excellent method if the product is very niche, Doesn’t target the masses!
