Q

Describe the three steps of classical conditioning

A
  1. A stimulus (unconditioned) which produces an almost certain response (unconditioned) in a subject
  2. Some other (conditioned) stimulus is associated with the unconditioned stimulus
  3. After the two stimuli have been associated several times it may be possible to elicit the same response as earlier (now called the conditioned response) with only the conditioned stimulus
