Defenition of learning
Process by which individuals experience produce lasting change in behavior or mental process
What is instinct
Motivated behavior that is hard-wired in genes
Neutral stimulis
A stimulis which, before training, does not produce the targeted response but does produce some response
Unconditioned stimulis
stimulus that elicits the targeted response naturally
Unconditioned response
A response that is elicited from the UCS without training (Instinct)
Conditoned stimulis
When the previous neutral stimulis slowly gives the same targeted response as the UCS
Conditioned response
Response elicited by the CS
Extintion
No longer giving a reward that would be a CS
Spontaneous recovery
Sudden re-emergence of a previously learned CR (re-learning)

Stimuis that is close but not the same

Lerning to give the CR to only the CS and not a similar stimulis
