What are the roles and responsibilities of a leading hand in the RN
It is the duty of every Leading Hands of every branch of the service to ensure that order and regularity are preserved in their vicinity among those ratings of whatever branch, whether duty or not, who hold a junior rate to them
Privileges of a leading hand
The prefix ‘Leading hand’ is to be used by junior personnel
They fall in separately from their subordinates
They are placed in charge of formed bodies
They are exempt from kit musters
They are entitled to separate recreational space such as a bar
They are entitled to 5 minutes extra leave expiration
What are your roles and responsibilities as duty LET
accountable to DMESR
has to attend all musters of HFEP and act accordingly in fire/flood
carry out rounds in accordance with MEDSOs
being immediate attention to DMESR of any defect or incident which may affect machinery
List some safe systems of work
