This theory contends that how people see someone as a successful leader
depends on their underlying presumptions, preconceptions, beliefs, and schemas.
Implicit Leadership theory
The study highlights the importance of having an open mind in order to grasp
the distinctions in other cultures by highlighting both the similarities and contrasts
between cultures.
Hofstede’s cultural dimensions
expanded the ILT to include those who shared a common
cultural view about leaders—a concept that differs from culture to culture—but maintained it consistently.
