what is leadership ?
the term leadership refers to the ability of a person to motivate or influence others to work constructively towards the effectiveness and success of the organization in which principles are involved.
what are the characteristics of a good leader ?
honesty- leaders must be honest with the members of their group
flexibility- the ability to adapt to changing situations
trustworthiness- subordinates should be able to trust their leader
intelligence- leaders should have the ability to think logically
what are the leadership styles ?
autocratic or authoritarian- the absolute authority on all matters
democratic (participative) - the leader consults with those likely to be affected or involved with a decision that is about to be made.
