A woman in tears at a tomb and based on an urn. No doubt it’s the ashes of her husband that she waters with her tears. This card is about pains & sorrows.

Death is represented with all it’s attributes & seems ready to anhilate all that exists - large & small. It is not unintentional that it is placed under # 13. This issue which the ancients regarded as the most unfortunate, probably as a result of a disastrous experience. Would it not for this reason that the 13 Hebrew tribes only counted 12.
