Who is responsible for safe and effective conduct of the flight. This responsibility encompasses all aspects of the sortie, or including mission, planning, brief, execution, and debrief.

How should students conduct Pre-Mission Coordination?
Students will coordinate with their next IP as early as possible. Ideally, discoordination will be accomplished the day prior to scheduled sortie.
Pre-mission coordination will include type of sortie, proposed, mission, profile, and assignments of additional study material prior to the sortie.
What are the Pre-Mission information requirements?
Pilots will comply with 14FTW In-Flight Guide
-Confirm Go/No go status in GTIMS prior to brief time
-Pilots will clear any No Go items prior to brief
-At minimum pilots will review:

WEATHER
AIRFIELD STATUS
OPS NOTES (SPINS)
AHAS
RAIM STATUS
TOLD
OBTAIN A TIME HAVK PRIOR TO BRIEF
Students will prepare the following briefing items
-Mission and Training Objectives
-Lineup card
-Flight Plan
-ORM card
-CRM, EP & GK topics of the day
-Category grade summary and solo chit (solo students only)
Category specific items
For transition and navigation sorties students are responsible for signing out and de-conflicting and out base at the ops desk prior to brief.
Prior to briefing low level, sorties, students will sign out a low level entry time and ensure the route is de-conflicted prior to the brief.
Students will be prepared for any sortie for which their opted and will have data cards available for alternate missions.
Report time
All sortie participants will be ready to breathe at scheduled brief time. Flights will plan to finish the formal mass brief at least 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled a Flying Brief Time. Students will be ready to brief 10 minutes prior to scheduled brief time.
