Come up with explanations to justify a situation
Projection
You think someone else has your feeling or thought
Intellectualization
Type of rationalizing but more intellectual thoughts or justifications
Displacement
Redirect feelings to another target
Sublimation
Channeling unacceptable impulses, thoughts and emotions into more acceptable ones
