The laser writes the image to the drum by changing the charge on specific areas of the drum

The areas of e drum with the lesser charge attract toner. Toner has a charge too.

Transferring
A
The paper goes through the printer. A positive charge is applied to it. This positive attracts the toner from the drum

Fusing
A
The toner is fused to the paper

Cleaning
A
A rubber blade scrapes excess toner from the drum.
A lamp removes the charge on the drum.
