- Must have Flight Examiner Rating
- Qualified to act as PIC of aeroplane type performing an air operation
- 200 hours exercising privileges of category D instructor rating for the aeroplane type involved

Must demonstrate competency every 24 months

What are privileges of Flight Examiner Rating
Conduct flight tests for which authorisation has been granted by the direction, or renewal of ratings, or for operation competency assessments.
What are flight examiner currency requirements
Must have within preceding 24 months demonstrated competence to exercise privileges.
(may be done 60 days prior and valid from original expiry)
What is recent flight Experience for ATPL Pilot
Preceding 90 days, carried out as PIC on Aircraft or Synthetic Trainer, minimum 3 take-offs and landings
or
Demonstrate competency to Flight examiner or Flight Instructor in aircraft of same type.
What are Part 121 Flight Crew Competency assessments
Each PIC within preceding 12 months passed route check conducted in an aeroplane including proficiency check administered by flight examiner
At least 1 flight over 1 route and 1 or more landings and representative aerodromes
establishes that they can satisfactory perform duty’s and responsibility of pilot in command.
What are part 121 IFR Competency assesmsenet
Any flight crew member operating under IFR has within preceding 6 months completed successfully assessment
covering procedures including emergency procedures for aeroplane and type of operation assigned and included human factors and CRM
How is IFR currency done on Q300 Fleet
CAR 61.807(a)(5) - Conducting operation under authority of a part 119 AOC and has satisfied IFR competency under P121
eg; demonstrate continued competency in TD/PD
What are company recency rules?
35 Day recency, after which re-qualification via,
Flight in aircraft with qualified pilot, Flight Examiner or Line Supervisory Captain
Completing 2 hour SIM re-qualification exercise.
After 90 days, the re-qualification SIM is the only method.
