Complainant

Conciliation
A post-investigation settlement process to resolve disputes before a hearing.
Ombudsman
An independent official who investigates complaints against public institutions.

Rights under Section 15 of the Charter that guarantee equal treatment and protection under the law.
Legal Rights
Charter-protected rights that include due process, right to a fair trial, and protection from arbitrary arrest.
