PE should not publicly express their opinions if they do not fully know all the facts.

Only in the interest of the client, shall the PE engage experts and specialists.

If the PE is a housing developer, he shall not supply any professional engineering services

On top of the PE’s responsibility to his client and profession, he should always uphold the public interest as utmost importance.
Clause 8
PE shall not offer to make any payment in order to attain employment opportunities.
Clause 9(5)
Within 14 days of termination of QP appointment, fired QP will have to inform CBC (Commissioner of Building Control) and the builder.
Clause 8(2b)
Developer should update CBC of newly appointed QP, however in practice, newly appointed QP will notify CBC himself.
Clause 11 (4&5)
Within 14 days of termination of QP appointment, builder will notify CBC, and cease all works under duty of that fired QP until a new QP is appointed.
