What if the procedure for the toss?
Hold the toss. The team that wins can decide who kicks off first or which goal to attack. Depending on their choice, the opponents take the kick off or decide which goal to attack.
What is the procedure for kick-off?
The ball is place stationary on the centre spot. Only the player taking the kick-off can be in the centre circle. All players apart from the kicker have to be on their side of the pitch. The referee gives a signal. The ball is in play once the kicker has kicked it and it has clearly moved.
What is the procedure for a drop ball?
The ball is given to the goalkeeper if the ball was in the penalty area or the last touch of the ball was in the penalty area. Otherwise the ball is dropped for a player where the ball last touched anyone. All players apart from the receiver must be at least 4m away.
