What are relative clauses?
Relative clauses are extra sentences that describe sonething
What does qui, quae and quod have to do with relative clauses?
These words are the ones who introduce the relative clause into the sentence: e.g the merchant, WHO was about to die, volunteered to help. Who is the introducer adn was about to die is the relative clause.
