Q
Nascent
A
Coming into existence, emerging (from Latin root word, nasci which means to be born or to arise.)
2
Q
Juxtapose
A
It refers to the act of placing things close together, especially for the purpose of comparison or contrast. Comes from the Latin words “juxta,” meaning “near,” and “ponere,” meaning “to place.” My goal in bringing tobacco science into the discussion was not to validate or invalidate Amazonian knowledge but to juxtapose the two points of view and see how they line up next to each other.
