3) Laser beam directed at drum.
4) Where laser strikes, drum charge is neutralised.
5) Charge applied to toner.
6) Toner sticks to drum based on where laser struck.
7) Paper passed over drum and toner transfers to it.
8) Charge applied to paper assists with transfer.
9) Heater fuses toner onto paper.
10) For colour printing, four different colour toners used.
