Shang yang
0.1 cun lateral to the radial nail corner of the index finger.
“1) Swollen and sore throat, toothache;
2) Loss of consciousness, sunstroke;
3) Febrile disease.”
He gu
On the dorsum of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, approximately in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the radial side.
“1) Headache, deviated mouth and eye, toothache, conjunctival congestion, nosebleed, deafness;
2) Fever and aversion to cold with or without sweating;
3) Amenorrhea, delayed labour;
4) Paralysis of the forearm, unable to move voluntarily, painful wrist and forearm.”

Yang xi
On the transverse crease of the radial side of the wrist, between the hollow of the tendons of the extensor pollicis longus and brevis.
“1) Pain in the wrist;
2) Headache, toothache, swollen and sore throat.”
Pian Li
With the elbow flexed, on the line linking the Yangxi (LI 5) and Quchi (LI 11) points, 3 cun above the wrist crease.
1) Nosebleed, tinnitus, deafness; 2) Pain in the forearm; 3) Edema.
Shou sanli
On the line linking the Yangxi (LI 5) and Quchi (LI 11) points, 2 cun below the cubital crease.
1) Paralysis of the forearm, pain and numbness in the elbow and arm; 2) Toothache, swollen cheek; 3) Abdominal pain, diarrhea.
《针灸甲乙经》就有记载：“肠痛时寒，腰痛不得卧，手三里主之。”
手三里穴的名字来由很有意思。其手当然指的是穴位位于手臂。而三里指的不是直线距离而是一个泛指的范围。老子的《道德经》里有记载:“道生一，一生二，二生三，三生万物。”所以这里的三里指的是一个巨大的范围。指穴内气血物质所覆盖的范围之大，巨大无比之意。
Qu Chi

3) Rubella, eczema;
4) Hypertension;
5) Paralysis of the arm, pain and weakness in the elbow;
6) Psychosis;
7) Abdominal pain, diarrhea.”
Jian Yu
With the arm abducted and parallel to the ground, at the upper border of the deltoid muscle, in the inferior anterior depression of the shoulder.
” 1) Pain and numbness in the upper arm and shoulder, impaired movement of arm;
2) Scrofula.”
〔定位〕三角肌上部中央，肩峰与肱骨大结节之间，当上臂外展至水平位时，出现两个凹陷，在前方的凹陷处
就在肩膀与手臂连接处最高的地方，往前滑，有点凹陷的就是了
出《灵枢*经脉》。别称髃骨、，髃指肩胛骨。因穴位肩上髃骨处，为手阳明大肠和阳 跷脉之会，主治肩关节诸疾，因名。《玉龙经》：治中风半身不遂， 手臂挛急，筋骨酸痛，风热瘾疹。
FuTu
3 cun lateral to the tip of the Adam’s apple, between the sternal head and clavicular head of m. sternocleidomastoideus.
1) Sore throat, sudden loss of voice; 2) Scrofula, goiter; 3) Cough and asthma.
Ying Xiang
In the naso-labial groove, at the center of the lateral border of the ala nasi.
“ 1) Nasal obstruction, nosebleed, sinusitis;
2) Facial paralysis, facial itchiness;
3) Ascariasis of the biliary tract.”
