Measured in knots, max gust speed is max instantaneous speed of a gust from 0000hrs within 24hrs on given day.
mean wind direction is averaged over 24hrs from 0000hrs and rounded to nearest 10 degrees

Measure of sky clarity in oktas - 0/8, clear skies, 8/8 completely cloudy
Define visibility
greatest distance an object can be seen and recognised in daylight, measured horizontally in decimeters

Discrete data as the beaufort conversion
What is average air pressure and what is it measured in?
Measured in HectoPascals, its average is 1010 hPa - higher pressures mean nicer days, lower pressures mean crappier
