expresses degree of possibility
what is a dynamic verb?
describes something that is happening
what is a stative verb?
something that exists, no change or process happening
what is the progressive aspect?
makes the action seem continous (-ing)
what is the perfect aspect?
action started in the past and is continuing (-ed)

what is a deontic modal verb?
relates to obligation (he should)
what is an epistemic modal verb?
belief/knowledge (i think)
