Common noun
A noun used to suggest more than one of a object

A person or place thats shown with a capital letter
Collective noun
A noun used to suggest a group of individuals
Concrete noun
A noun that can be physically seen or touched
Abstract noun
A noun that can not physically be seen or touched
Pronoun
A word that can function as a noun phrase used by itself e.g i, you
Alliteration
A occurance of the same letter or sound at the beginning of words in a sentence
Onomatopoeia
A word that sounds like the noise it is describing
Foreshadowing
A warning or prediction that something is going to happen in the future
Personification
Describing an object with human characteristics
