What is induction?

The process by which cells, tissues and organs acquire specialised features, especially during embryonic development
What is specialisation?
The adaptation of an organ or an organ or part to serve a special function or to suit a particular way of life
What is migration?
Movement of cells from one area to another
What is apoptosis?

What is embryogenesis?
- The process by which the embryo forms and develops
- In mammals, this is in the early stage of prenatal development
What is organogenesis?
Origin or development of organs
What is Morphogenesis ?
Process that causes an organism to develop it’s shape
What is Gastrulation ?
A phase early in the embryonic development during which the single layered blastula is reorganised into a multi-layered structure known as the gastrula
What are the gametes?
Sperm and ovum
What is fertilisation?
Sperm + ovum = zygote
