A comparison where on thing is compared to another using words LIKE or AS

A comparison where one thing is said to actually be another
“When i’m felling good i’m a different person”
Personification
When you assign the qualities of a person to something that isn’t human or, in some cases, to something that isn’t even alive
“The leaves danced in the wind”
Alliteration
The repetition of the same sound at the beginning of words to create an effect
“I’m in a dilemma of deep dark depression”
Onomatopoeia
A word that imitates a sound
“The bullet whistled through the air”
