define context

what is imagery?
visually descriptive/ figurative language, especially in literal work
what are some figurative language examples?

what is figurative language?
the use of words in a way that deviates from conventional order and meaning.

logos, ethos, pathos
what is logo?
arguments from logic. giving reasons why a certain position is positive/ negative.
whats ethos?
arguments from ethics. showing you have good will for your audience
whats pathos?
arguments from emotions? appealing to audiences emotions and trying to elicit a response from them to win them over.
define atmosphere
overall mood of a text
what are hybrid texts?
a single text that weaves together informational and narrative texts
