Fetch

Swash
flow of water up a beach as a wave breaks
Backwash
when water runs back down the beach
Beach morphology
shape of the beach including width and slope and features such as berms, ridges and runnels and the type of sediment
Blow hole
forms when a coastal cave turns upwards and breaks through flat cliff top because of erosion of weak strata or presence of fault line
Currents
flows of seawater in particular direction driven by winds or differences in water density, salinity or temperature
Mass movement
the downslope movement of rock and soil, umbrella term for a range of specific movements
