Acronym DIMDFFD
D= direct someone to give name, address, dob, number, occupation, owner of car and information about identity of driver.
I= inspect: test and examine car. Brakes, test drive etc
M= move or authorize someone to move if its causing an obstruction
D=direct: the driver or owner to move car if it’s a safety hazard or in public’s interest
F= forbid: an unlicensed driver to drive
F= forbid: operating transport service (taxi, bus) without a license to do so
D: direct: someone to stop crash/ flooding

Officer can require these details immediately if vehicle used to flee police pursuit
