Groundskeeper
Maintains the grounds of parks, leisure facilities, or other outdoor areas
Greenkeeper
Cares for golf courses and other sports pitches, ensuring they are in good condition for play
Landscaper
Construction of greenspaces including water features, pavements, walls & pillars
Farm Manager
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a farm
Farm Worker
The work can involve operating machinery in order to cultivate fields, drill crops, apply chemicals and then harvest them. Alternatively, workers might be feeding animals, caring for sick or newborn stock or milking dairy cows.
Feed Nutritionist
Feed specialists that advise farmers on what to feed their animals in order to maximise growth, reproduction, health and performance.
Grain Buyer
People who buy wheat, oilseed rape and other crops from farmers for use in the production of food for humans and animals.
Agronomist
Also known as ‘crop doctors’. Specialise in the scientific study of agricultural practices and apply scientific knowledge specifically to crop production and soil management.
Shepard
A person who tends, herds, feeds or guards flocks of sheep.
Stable hand
Assists in the care of horses at a stable or riding school
