Ahi-kā
Process of establishing ownership - need to live on land for at least 3 generations to fully have claim to the land and be absent for 3 generations to extinguish it.
Rāhui
Temporary ban on area - can be sign of respect after death or to protect people from tapu of death or danger, can be to protect resources
