  • fickle character - sudden change from respecting Claudius to vengeful
  • easily manipulated

  • L is a lost character - follows through stereotypical roles as brother, student, son, revenge hero
  • manipulated through roles of play w/out realising his stuck position
  • only has ONE moment of reflection:
    “Exchange forgiveness with me, noble Hamlet…”
