A strike takes place is workers refuse to work. The most common reason for strikes are wages, working hours and conditions of employment

  1. GO SLOW-Employees show up but do work very slowly
  2. SIT DOWN STRIKE- employees show up but refuse to do any work
  3. WILDCAT STRIKE-against the law takes place without any warning
  4. LOCKOUT- employees are locked out by their own employers and refused entry
