A machine with a rapidly rotating container that separated substances of different densities. Used for smaller samples and operates at a very high speed for a short amount of time.
Hematocrit centrifuge
A machine with a rapidly rotating container that separated substances of different densities. Used to spin microhematocrit tubes (PCV/TP)
Swing arm centrifuge
A machine with a swing arm that rapidly rotates fecal samples to separate contents of different densities.
IV fluid pump
Infused fluids, medications, and nutrients into a patients circulatory system via a pump. Most commonly used intravenously
