Process in which pupils respond to streaming and levels by moving towards subcultures. Pro school and anti school

Lower streams and working class pupils. And those who do not fit the ideal pupil
Habit is meaning
It’s a way a class group acts based on how the social group is. E.g Middle class will spend money
What is symbolic capital
Popularity which is gained by the middle class by teachers because they follow the rules and school values
