What are the kidneys for?
To separate the waste from the nutrients, and filter out the blood.
Two ways to collect a urine test
- Free catch
2. manual expression
What is bacteria?
Indicates infections due to improper handling
What do crystals do?
Crystals bond together=stone= blockage in the urinary flow
Costs
Tubular clumps of cells or other materials that form in the collecting tubules of the kidneys
Broth dilution
Series of test tubes that contain varying concentrations of same antibiotic.
Agar diffusion

- ketones. - sperm. -blood
- yeast -bile
What is the function of the urinary system?
