Because it likes to grow near wet areas!
How does River Cane spread fast?
Through asexual reproduction!

How do they cones reproduce?
The cones open up and the seeds falls out, then falls onto or gets blown onto the female and lands on seed, fertilization then occurs. Then they produce seeds that are baby plants.

800-1000 years

How are they unlike evergreen?
Unlike most evergreens, Bald Cypress trees drop their needles in the winter.
