Q

what is the difference of an enriched media, chemically defined media, EZ medium, complex

A
  • enriched - contains growth factors, vitamins, and other essential nutrients to promote growth of fastidious organisms
  • chemically defined - chemical composition of medium is known
  • EZ - chemical components are exactly known
  • Complex media - which contains extractions and digests of yeast, meat or plants and percise chemical composition not known.
