- untraditonal musical, subverting stereotypes, breaking boundries and challenge hollywoods happy ending and how that idea change based on one perception
- deeply woven thematic ideas, expressed through a foreshadowing use of lighting and music and colour symbolism (cause and effect storytelling)

- colour hues as symbolism for the season and the characters growth/decisons

- message about different ideas of happines and folowing your dreams
- making peace with the unexpected

Why VR?
A
The concept of VR is super interesting to me.
- I was first exposed to it in grade 6 and I was captivated ever since, I think there are many engaging and entertaining ways to use VR as well as educational ways to use VR.
- It is a platform on the come up.
- VR is a challenge, and I wanted to try to see where i could adapt this film
- La La Land is in general about being absorbed in a dream, which is what VR allows us to do, escape our own reality for a little while and dream, I thought they connected very well.
