Also meds, folate status impacted, omeprazole blocks vit b12 and Vit D and mineral absorption, especially iron, calcium and zinc contributing to deficiency and insufficency.
Which systems need support
Digestive - constipation, flatulence, bloating, picking up colds and flus so immune system comes from how well our gut is functioning. Drinking alcohol, carbs, low anti-OX, having an effect on biliary system leading to constipation and production of enzymes.
Nervous system - under stress, juggling 2 young chldren, divorce proceedings, tension headaches, no exercise, gained weight impacting mental health.
Immune System - Joint pain and knees, skin eruptions. Constipation and dysbiosis going on so long causing low grade inflammation picking up alot of colds of flus.
What are the mediators -
These are IMBALANCES occuring in the body
Inflammation - skin, knees and immune needing support
dysbiosis, as there is Constipation, gas
HPA axis dysregulation or cortisol imbalance,
Stress would be a trigger, physiological imbalances are presenting themselves,
Low water would be a trigger,
Likliehood, presenting with low HCl due to PPI (suppress secretion of HCl) , impacting upr and lower digestion and impacting enzymes
