how does vegetation stablise low energy coastline [3 different ways]

A
  1. through roots performing flocculation
  2. original plants on the coastline act as a shield to protect the new plants behind from the wind and sediment is deposited behind the plant, creating a more stable envronment for the plant to grow.
    3.Marram grass shields the soil behind from alt spray to prevent the soil having too much sodium.
