A

crime survey for england and wales. victim survey which aims to complement the annual police statistics. the CSEW suggests crime is higher than what police recorded crime suggests.

A

  • focuses on circumstances of criminal incident and behaviour of the criminal offender
  • helps to estimate extent of domestic violence, stalking, sexual offences
