Why did you refer this instruction?
- Despite the process not being any different to that of a normal instruction, I was aware of my lack of understanding of key factors that impact Roadside properties such as;
- Prominence of the site
- Passing traffic
- Surrounding amenities.
- Applying these factors to comparable evidence to ensure similar prominence requires a specific skillset.
Within my company there is one of the largest dedicated departments for roadside and automotive and I am extremely confident in the service they can provide to clients.
Surely fees were important, did you receive a fee for referring?
Considered a cross selling opportunity rather than a fee sharing opportunity. If my hard work had been instrumental in winning the job then a fee share would have been appropriate.

How did this differ from a property that you could do a lease renewal for?
Understanding of comparable evidence and kay factors that I am not familiar with such as key traffic passing by and or passing traffic.
Does this warrant fee sharing?
Considered a cross selling opportunity rather than a fee sharing opportunity. If my hard work had been instrumental in winning the job then a fee share would have been appropriate.
