Why is language productive?
Finite number of units create an infinite number of utterances
What are pragmatics?
The cognitive and social skills that enable us to communicate effectively including turn-taking, initiating conversations, maintaining a dialogue and repairing faulty communications
What is phonology and morphology?
Speech sounds and how they combine to make words and utterances

Higher pitch/more exaggerated
