8 Essential Components of Communication
1.Message- the thought
2.Source-the one who carries the message
3. Receiver- the one who interpret the message
4.Channel- the way the message travel
5. Feedback-
6. Environment- the space
7. Context- the circumstances that forms the setting
8. Interference- the noise or barriers to communication
3 Barriers to Communication
- Semantic Bariers- faulty words and translation
- Psychological Barriers - the emotional well being of sender and receiver
- Personal Barriers - lack of knowledge and listening skilla
Levels of Communication
- Interpersonal Communication - involves two people
- Group Communication - involves 3-8/ small group of people
- Public Communication -
- Mass Communication - powerful way involves technology as a vital role
