On the 1st rib on the anterior scalene muscle
Where does the subclavian artery go from when its attached to the top of the 1st rib
After it reaches the lateral edge of the 1st rib it travels under the clavicle
When does the subclavian artery turn into the axillary arteries?
After it crosses the lateral edge of the 1st rib
What are the chords of the brachial plexus defined as being relative to?
Relative to the axillary artery
When does the braichial artery from from the axillary artery
When the vessel reaches the lower border of the teres major
What does the brachial artery bifurcate into?
Into the radial and ulnar arteries
Where does the radial artery start
From the tendons of the biceps to the wrist
What nerve does the radial artery travel with?
With the radial nerve
What part of the forearm does the radial artery supply
The posterior part of the forearm
What do the radial and ulnar artery’s do meet to form in the palm?
They form 2 arches. The deep and superficial palmar arches
Venous drainage runs in 2 parallel systems. What are they?
Superficial and deep
Which vein is lateral in the arm

Where does the cephalic vein arise from
Arises from the dorsal venous netwwork or the hand. Ascends passing anteriorly at the elbow
What does the cephalic vein do at the shoulder?
Travels between the deltoid and pectoralis major.(deltopectoral groove) and then enters the axilla region via the clayipectoral triangle
