A
Germany had to accept full blame for starting the war. (seen extremely harsh by germans)

Their goverment didnt take part in peace talks, they had no other option but accept

- Disarmament: They thought it was unfair as none of their allies were asked to disarm in the same way.

- Fourteen points: German - speaking people were being hived off into other countries to be ruled by non-germans.

Hyperinflation
A
- German goverment to pay the reparations of the ToV, printed more money.
- Caused the materials to lose worth. Wages were paid daily not weekly

Political Violence
A
- 1920 right-wing opponents attempted a revolution
- They were called the Kapp Putsch and they were defeated by Berlin’s general strike.
- Multiple political assasinations

Conflict in the Ruhr
A
- French ran out of patience for their reparations as they were not being paid so they invaded the Ruhr and took what Germany owed them in raw goods.
- German goverment ordered a strike so the french couldnt take anything but it only made worse the problem.
- 100 workers killed and as there were no goods it led Germany to hyperinflation.
