connotation: it holds connotations of the Gothic iconography emphasizing the horror/thriller genre

connotation: the gradient in color helps to suggest Tanya’s transition from good to evil (resembling the women of the swinging 60’s)
Denotation: Carl in a tailored/tailed dinner jacket/tux
connotation: it connotes a sense of power and wealth, symbolizing him as having the most power and dominance in the front AD image. Additionally, the wealth of his dress code makes him appear more alluring stereotypical to the presentation of Gothic vampire.
