Through QRA Eurofighter Typhoons that are ready to intercepts threats in minutes. Threats may include unauthorised aircraft entering protected airspace, to cyber attacks.
How does the RAF prevent conflict?
By identifying and managing threats through ISR.
ISR - is the process of collecting, processing, and providing information to support commanders.
How does the RAF deliver aid?
On overseas humanitarian operations the RAF works with the DFID (UK government department that manages overseas aid), the governments of commonwealth and partner countries
How does the RAF work in partnership?
By continuously training and deploying with the armed forces of our NATO allies and global partners. RAF uses the full spectrum approach where they work in joint action with the British army and the Royal Navy.
How does the RAF combat cyber threats?
The RAF has cyberspace communications specialists that are continuously working in the UK and around the world to combat these threats.
