Why did Blake reject established religion.
He didn’t agree with the fact they had so much power or that they failed to use that power to escape children forced into work.
Where did Blake live?
He lived in London which is why the poem can be considered an accurate depiction.
What did he think of the French Revolution?
He agreed with it and liked that the unfair power was overthrown. He believed London could be the stage for the next revolution.
What is the rhyme scheme?
ABAB
How many stanzas with how many lines?
Four stanzas each with four lines. This could mimic the conformity they were forced into by the powers.
Very little use of
