Signs and symptoms of a meniscus tear ?
patients will experience a ‘pop
patient may be able to walk but can become stiffer
pain at the knee
swelling
catching or locking usually when bent.
may notice a clicking
may feel unstable
may be unable to bend or extend leg
knee may feel tender along the joint

what are the four main ligament injuries
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).The ligament, located in the centre of the knee, that controls rotation and forward movement of the tibia (shin bone).
Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).The ligament, located in the back of the knee, that controls backward movement of the tibia (shin bone).
Medial collateral ligament (MCL).The ligament that gives stability to the inner knee.
Lateral collateral ligament
(LCL).The ligament that gives stability to the outer knee
WAHT ARE THE DIFFERENT GRADES OF LIGAMENT INJURY ?
Grade 1 - 2 ND 3
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF GRADE 1
- minimal tendernes and swelling
knee still has stability and does not give out during physical activity
signs and symptoms of a grade 2 ligament injury
some tenderness and swelling
joint may be unstable and can give out during physical activity
signs and symptoms of a grade 3 injury
tendernes
