patient should be asked to walk across the room.

Looking for;
- symmetrical movement
- altered gait
- unatural movement
- walking on ball of foot trying to avoid strightening the limb.

Step 2 - Pain

Has the patient got any pain

Question 4

Step 3- looking?

Answer 4

Look for;

• knocked knees (Valgus)
• Bow-legged (Varus)
• swelling
• redness
• brusing
• deformity

Also look for knee effusion
